Vrijdag 22 april stelt saxofoniste Tineke Postma haar nieuwe quartet-album The Dawn Of Light voor in het Bimhuis in Amsterdam. Dit debuut op Challenge Records heeft ze opgenomen met haar Europese kwartet, bestaande uit Marc van Roon (piano), Frans van der Hoeven (bas), Martijn Vink (drums).

The Dawn Of Light is Tineke’s vijfde album. De geweldige bassiste/ zangeres, en tevens vriendin, Esperanza Spalding speelt mee op het prachtige Leave Me A Place Underground, gecomponeerd door Tineke.

Niet alleen binnen de landsgrenzen behoort Tineke Postma tot de top, in het buitenland maakt ze eveneens veel furore. Een kleine greep uit de vele recensies:
